HOT AND NASTY. Back in the summer of ‘07, in the early morning light of WORTHY CHICAGO, founding artist/designer/member Peter Olsen [aka MFP/SLEEVELESS JESUS] had a few hand-painted trucker hats lying around the studio.  What started as a exercise in using different canvases for art [and a secret love for combining fashion and art] quickly grew into a local phenomenon.  It was only a matter of time before the word got out and orders started coming in for custom, one-of-a kind MFP hats and shoes. Figuring I’d be a damn fool to pass up an golden opportunity, I quickly set my sights and turned my brushes on this bold new endeavor.

THE REST IS HISTORY.  Over the past year or so, I’ve watched my Rock ‘N’ Roll inspired clothing line [WORTHY CHICAGO] grow, and at the same time, I’ve taken the knowledge I’ve come away from to my custom work.  As much as I love cranking out tees with my Rock ‘N’ Rollers, there really is nothing quite like seeing the reactions I get from my friends and clients when I bust out something done specifically for them.  And you can tell there’s something really special in knowing that what I’m doing for you I’ll never do the same for another.  When you look at my work I’ve put up here you’ll notice that there are a few pieces that are re-produced, but only in small batches. That way I can ensure you that while you may not own a true one-of-a kind, chances are, you probably won’t run into anyone else with it.  

If these are the end of days, let’s go out in style! Rockin’ and a rollin’ all the way to the grave!
